Eligibility criteria for the Sir Thomas Naghten Fitzgerald Scholarship:

Applicants must:

be an outstanding graduate research applicant, or enrolled graduate researcher, of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
be a medical graduate undertaking research in surgery
satisfy the Faculty's entry requirements for PhD

Value of Sir Thomas Naghten Fitzgerald Scholarship:

An annual top-up scholarship, paid fortnightly, the value and duration of which are dependent on the income of the gift.

Application Process:

Applicants must nominate themselves by sending a 50 word summary acknowledging their research in the field and the name of their principal supervisor to mdhs-gr-admissions@unimelb.edu.au.
