To be eligible, applicants must:

Be continuing undergraduate students with junior or senior standing at the time of application.
Have a declared major or minor in Spanish.
Have earned a minimum of 30 hours at Texas State, including the semester of application.
Have completed or are currently enrolled in at least one upper-division Spanish course.
Have a minimum Texas State GPA of 2.75.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.25 in intermediate and/or advanced Spanish coursework.
Demonstrate financial need.
Not be graduating from Texas State during the upcoming summer term.
