Based on academic achievement, this fellowship is given to a first-year doctoral or master's degree candidate in philosophy who is conducting research at the University of Melbourne's School of Physics.

Eligibility for the Robert D Hill Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be a first-year Doctoral or Master of Philosophy (Science) candidate
Be undertaking research in the School of Physics at the University of Melbourne
Not hold concurrently the Lyn McDowell Scholarship or the Goldsworthy Scholarship in Physics

Value of the Scholarship:

Each year's Robert D. Hill Scholarship awards will differ in amount and quantity. It ranges from AUD 5,000 to AUD 8,000 this year.
