Introduction:

The Richard Cheng Empowerment Scholarship for Avasara Students is made possible by a gift from Mr Richard Cheng to The University of Western Australia (UWA). The scholarship will help talented young women from Avasara Academy in Pune, India, to overcome educational barriers and pursue a three-year bachelor’s degree at UWA.

Eligibility requirements for the Richard Cheng Empowerment Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

Be a graduate of Avasara Academy, Pune, India, from the previous year.
Have completed at least four A-Level subjects.
Have received or accepted an offer of admission to a three-year bachelor's degree at UWA.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 15,000.

Application Process:
