In honor of the University of Tasmania's 125th anniversary, Rhonda Ewart established the Rhonda Ewart Honours Scholarship in Dementia Care scholarship in 2015. Its purpose is to provide an honors scholarship that will always be given to a student pursuing an honors program in dementia care with the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Center at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility for Rhonda Ewart Honours Scholarship in Dementia Care:
- Accessible to a student starting an Honors research course (M4G or M4N) in Semester 1, 2024, under the supervision of the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Center, on a subject related to dementia.
- The student has to be enrolled at the College of Health and Medicine's Tasmanian School of Medicine.
- The student should obtain at least a passing grade in each of their honors degree's components.
Selection criteria:
Selection will be based on academic merit and demonstration of financial need.
