California State University Real Estate and Land Use Institute Scholarship & Internship Grant

The California State University Real Estate and Land Use Institute Scholarship & Internship Grant is designed to support students interested in pursuing a career in real estate. The scholarship is funded by the State of California Department of Real Estate and is open to all majors who have an interest in real estate and related fields.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship and internship grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Interest in Real Estate:

• Applicants must have an interest in pursuing a career in real estate. 
• This includes a broad range of fields related to real estate such as urban planning, urban economics, geographic information systems, ethics, and property tax classes.

Course Completion:

• Applicants must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, at least one course related to real estate or a related subject.
  Enrollment Status: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at any California State University (CSU) campus.
  GPA Requirements:Undergraduate students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  Graduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  Economic or Educational Disadvantages: The applicant must have encountered economic or educational disadvantages in pursuing their education. 

Award Value

Award Amount:

• Awards typically range from $500 to $2,000.

Consideration for Financial Need:

• Financial need will be considered in the application review and may impact the final award amount.

Internship Option:

• The scholarship can also provide internship grants for unpaid internships in the real estate field, in addition to the standard scholarship award.
