Eligibility Criteria for MOFCOM Scholarship CSC Program 2026:
- Be a citizen of a country other than China and be in good physical and mental health.
- Meet the age and academic requirements:
- Undergraduate: high school graduate, under 25 years old
- Master’s: bachelor’s degree, under 35 years old
- Doctoral: master’s degree, under 40 years old
- Non-degree/general scholar: high school graduate, under 45 years old
- Senior/research scholar: master’s degree or higher, under 50 years old
- For undergraduate applicants: take the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) if required.
- Provide at least one pre-admission document from a Chinese university (acceptance letter or invitation).
- Submit a study plan or research proposal in English or Chinese.
- Provide language proficiency certificates if needed (HSK for Chinese-taught programs, IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs).
- For graduate and senior scholars: submit two recommendation letters.
