Water Resource Science Scholarship at Lakehead University 2026

Overview:

Awarded to a 3rd or 4th-year student registered in Water Resource Science program, interested in the management and/or environmental quality of Northern Lake Superior with an average of 80% or higher. Applicants must explain their interest in and experience pertaining to the management and/or understanding of environmental quality of Northern Lake Superior. Made at the recommendation from the Dean of Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies.

Eligibility for Water Resource Science Scholarship:

• Must be an undergraduate student in third or fourth year of study
• Must be registered in the Water Resource Science program
• Must have a minimum academic average of 80% or higher
• Must demonstrate a clear interest in the management and/or environmental quality of Northern Lake Superior
• Applicants must submit a statement outlining their interest and relevant experience related to the management and/or understanding of the environmental quality of Northern Lake Superior
• Awarded upon recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies
