Eligibility for Queen Mary Music Scholarships 2022:
- Applications are open to all undergraduate, postgraduate and research students who have firmly accepted an unconditional offer or are currently enrolled in a programme at Queen Mary.
Value of Queen Mary Music Scholarships 2022:
- Awards of up to GBP 350 are being made to help meet the cost of instrumental or vocal tuition during the academic year. The annual Music scholarship of up to GBP 350 will be paid directly to the instrumental or vocal tutor at the start of each academic year.
- Successful candidates will either be assigned tutors by the Director of Music or can choose tutors in consultation with the Director of Music. Music Scholars will have free access to the Music Rooms at all available times and have priority booking.
Whilst receiving this scholarship, recipients are expected to make a major contribution to the musical life of Queen Mary. Scholarships will generally be awarded to students whose musical interests and talents can support Queen Mary’s commitment to music-making within a public engagement.
