Paul and Helen Weiser Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must be an Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the 2026-2027 school year.
• They must achieve academic excellence, who are in substantial need of financial assistance, and who show promise for worthwhile achievement in later life.
• Students must qualify for financial need which is determined by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• There is no US citizenship requirement for this award.

Application process -

• International students who would like to be considered should fill out the Statement of Financial Need and email to ISSS at intl@uoregon.edu. For more information go to International Student and Scholar Services.
• Submit the following application materials here
  • Applicant’s full name, UO identification number, mailing address and email address.
  • One page statement
  • Brief statement of need
  • Academic transcripts (unofficial acceptable)
  • Letter of support from research adviser

Note -This award is a one-year unrestricted award and may be used for tuition, fees, stipend, books, etc. Awards will be allocated for fall 2025. Applicants who have won this award in the past are not eligible to apply again.
