Mel and Vera LaPointe Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026

The University of Northern British Columbia’s Mel and Vera LaPointe Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students pursuing studies in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies who have completed at least 60 credit hours and demonstrate academic proficiency, with preference given to students with financial need.

Eligibility Criteria for the Mel and Vera LaPointe Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at UNBC.
• Applicants must have completed at least 60 credit hours toward a declared major in a Natural Resources and Environmental Studies program.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
• Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants must complete the Financial Need section of the Awards Application form.

Application Process for the Mel and Vera LaPointe Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must submit an online application through the UNBC Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must complete the Awards Application form.
• Applicants must complete the Financial Need section of the application.
• Applicants must provide the required information demonstrating their academic proficiency and, where applicable, financial need.
• No additional documentation is required according to the award listing.
• The recipient is selected by the Awards Office/SCSB.
