Melody Andersson Memorial Award

The Melody Andersson Memorial Award was established by an alumnus of the MA in Tourism and Hospitality Management to honour the memory of Melody Andersson, who is always remembered for her generosity, dedication, and commitment to helping students.

Eligibility criteria of the Melody Andersson Memorial Award:

• The applicant must be a current student at the university.
• The applicant must have completed one year of the MA in Tourism Management program at the university.
• The applicant must demonstrate reasonable financial needs.
• The applicant must be able to describe how they plan to inspire positive change in a community through tourism.
• The applicant must be active in their program on the deadline date.
• Preference will be given to students demonstrating reasonable financial need.

Application process for the Melody Andersson Memorial Award:

• The applicants submit their applications online through MyAdmin on the university's website.
• A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login.
• The applicants must submit a one-page essay that addresses their eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition, along with their name mentioned in the top margin.
