Overview:

The Law Equity Scholarship aims to support a commencing UTS undergraduate Law student that demonstrate financial need and support them during their study.

Eligibility for Law Equity Scholarship:

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet the criteria:

Australian or New Zealand citizens, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; and
Have received an offer through Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) for a UTS Bachelor of Laws (single or combined) degree; and
Be commencing the first year of a UTS Bachelor of Laws (single or combined) degree;
Apply through UAC for an Equity Scholarship and therein demonstrate financial disadvantage; and
All candidates must apply using the online scholarships application form to be eligible; and
All candidates must be available to attend an interview in person.

Academic merit (ATAR excluding bonus points or equivalent)
Financial need via the UAC Equity Scholarship application
Motivation to succeed in the chosen Faculty of Law course
Demonstrated initiative in personal and professional life
