Master's Scholarship for supporting disabled students at Imperial College London
This scholarship is available for prospective Master's students who have a disability as defined by section 6 of the Equality Act 2010. The awards are granted based on academic merit after the applicant has received an offer of admission.
Eligibility Criteria of Master's Scholarship for supporting disabled students:
- One award is available per faculty for both Home and Overseas applicants who have received an offer to study a one-year full-time or two-year part-time Master’s course at Imperial College London.
- The applicant must have a disability as defined under Section 6 of the Equality Act 2010, including physical or sensory impairments, specific learning difficulties (e.g., dyslexia, dyspraxia), intellectual disabilities, or neurodivergent and neurological conditions.
Application Process:
- The applicant must apply for an eligible course and submit their admissions application through Imperial College London’s online portal.
- The applicant should receive and firmly accept an offer for 2026 entry by 8 May 2026 and complete the scholarship application form by the same deadline (23:59 UK time). No disability evidence or related details are required during the application process.
Award: The scholarship provides up to GBP 18,500 towards tuition fees for eligible Master’s courses, along with a GBP 21,000 maintenance grant and a GBP 1,500 equipment allowance.
Note:
- Online or distance learning courses and Imperial Business School MBA programmes are not eligible for this scholarship.
- The MA/MSc Global Innovation Design and MA/MSc Innovation Design Engineering courses offered by the Dyson School of Design Engineering are also excluded.
