This prize is awarded to an enrolled Research Higher Degree School of Physics student who, in the previous year, completed research in a branch of study related to Experimental Physics, as part of a Bachelor of Science (Honours), Master of Science (Physics), or Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Physics).
Eligibility Criteria for Klein Prize in Experimental Physics:
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science (Physics)
- Have completed a substantial research project in Experimental Physics in the previous year
- Have undertaken that research as part of one of the following programs at the University of Melbourne:
- Bachelor of Science (Honours)
- Master of Science (Physics)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Physics)
Value of the Klein Prize in Experimental Physics:
A one-off payment of up to $3,000.
