KIAA Postdoctoral Fellowship And KIAA-Chinese Academy Of Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship 2017

The Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) at Peking University Chinese Academy of Sciences are offering two postdoctoral fellowships.
The KIAA postdoctoral fellowships are offered in the areas of computational astrophysics, observational cosmology, high-energy and gravitational physics, and exoplanets, star formation, and stellar populations.
The KIAA-CAS Postdoctoral Fellowships are offered in the fields closely related to pulsars, physics of AGN jets using radio techniques, galaxy and AGN research using optical spectroscopy, and gas and dust content of galaxies and AGNs, with special emphasis on H I (21 cm) observations.

Eligibility:

• The applicants for KIAA Postdoctoral Fellowship and KIAA-Chinese Academy of Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2017 should have a Ph.D. in planetary sciences, astronomy, physics, or related fields.
• The candidates should have completed or expect to complete their Ph.D. by the effective date.
• The applicants should have research excellence record.
• The candidates can be of any nationality.

• The applicants for KIAA Postdoctoral Fellowship and KIAA-Chinese Academy of Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2017 should submit a curriculum vitae, and at least three recommendation letters.
• The candidates should also submit plans for future research and a brief summary of research experience.
• The applicants are required to indicate in which of the two fellowships they are most interested.
