Karen and Michael Lesyna Scholarship at College of Medical Sciences 2025

Eligibility criteria - 

• Applicants must be majoring in nursing to be eligible for this scholarship.
• Preference will be given to historically underserved students, which may include those from underrepresented racial or ethnic backgrounds.
• Additionally, students who are active participants in organizations such as the African-American/Black Student Success Center, Chicanx/Latinx Student Success Center, or any of the other Recognized Student Associations will be prioritized in the selection process.

Value/Benefit of the Scholarship -

• The scholarship offers financial support of up to $1,300, which can assist students in covering various educational expenses, including tuition, textbooks, and other supplies.
• This funding is designed to ease the financial burden of nursing students, particularly those from underserved backgrounds, and help them succeed in their academic endeavors.
