Jane Ferguson Scholarships at Victoria University of Wellington 

The Jane Ferguson Scholarship, established in 1941 through a bequest from Jane Ferguson, supports female orphans of academic merit whose financial or personal circumstances might otherwise prevent them from continuing their studies at Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligibility Criteria of Jane Ferguson Scholarships:

The scholarship is open to female students who are orphans, having lost one or both parents, and who demonstrate outstanding academic ability.
Applicants must have strong moral character and be New Zealand citizens.

Selection Criteria:

1. Applicants must be female orphans (loss of one or both parents) and New Zealand citizens.
2. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic ability and strong moral character.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award: Varies.

Note: 

1. Recipients must write a letter of thanks to the donor of this scholarship.
2. The Scholarship cannot be deferred to a later year.
3. The Scholarship may be held in conjunction with other awards.
