Highland Society of London Prize at University of the Highlands and Islands 2026

The Highland Society of London Prize is awarded annually to an undergraduate student within the Humanities and Gaelic subject network at the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). 

Eligibility for Highland Society of London Prize at University of the Highlands and Islands 2026

• The applicant must be a current undergraduate student at the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI).
• The applicant must have submitted the dissertation of the year within the Humanities and Gaelic subject network.
• The applicant must have a dissertation related to a social, cultural, environmental, or historical aspect of the Highlands and Islands.

Application Process

• No separate application is required.
• Eligible students are nominated by their programme leaders in consultation with the subject network leader.

Value of the scholarship: 

• GBP 750 is awarded to support the recipient.
