Overview

The LAGRANT Foundation is offering scholarships to citizens and permanent residents of the US pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the US-accredited institutions in the fields of public relations, marketing, and advertising.

Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate-

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient.
  • The applicant must be a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/American Indian.
  • The applicant must be a full-time student at a four-year, accredited institution in the U.S., carrying a total of 12 units or more per semester/quarter.
  • The applicant must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • The applicant must major in a field of study that has an emphasis in advertising, marketing, and public relations.
  • The applicant must have at least one year to complete his/her degree from the time the scholarships are awarded in April 2027.

Graduate and Ph.D-

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient.
  • The applicant must be a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/American Indian.
  • The applicant must be a full-time student at a four-year, accredited institution in the U.S., carrying a total of 9 units or more per semester/quarter.
  • The applicant must have a minimum of 3.2 GPA.
  • The applicant must major in a field of study that has an emphasis in advertising, marketing, and public relations.
  • The applicant must have a minimum of two academic semesters or one year left to complete his/her Master’s degree from the time the scholarship is awarded in May 2026. Summer semesters do not count.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must submit a typed application in one PDF file.
  • The application should include the following documents:
    • An essay on the following topics:
      • A one to two-page essay outlining your career goals and where you see your career path leading you.
      • A brief paragraph explaining college and/or community activities in which you are involved.
      • A brief paragraph describing any honors and awards that you have received.
    • A reference letter from a college professor or internship advisor on official letterhead and signed.
    • Most recent resume.
    • If selected as a finalist, the candidate must provide official transcripts.
    • Headshot photo of the applicant.

  • The LAGRANT Foundation Scholarships will offer USD 2,500 for undergraduate students and USD 3,750 for graduate students.
