Introduction:

The Heckbert Family Entrance Award was established through the Holland College Foundation by former Holland College CEO Ken Heckbert and his wife Alison Ann. The award supports incoming varsity athletes and reflects the family’s strong connection to collegiate sports.

Eligibility requirement for Heckbert Family Entrance Award at Holland College:

Be entering their first year of studies at Holland College.
Demonstrate financial need.
Achieve a minimum 70% academic average in Grade 12.
Be an incoming member of a Holland Hurricanes varsity team, specifically:
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Volleyball
Provide a letter of recommendation from a Holland Hurricanes varsity coach.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student
