Eligibility requirement for Harry D. MacKenzie Memorial Award at Holland College:

Be a student in the Sheriff & Public Safety Officer program.
Be nominated (this is not an open self-application award).
Demonstrate the following qualities:Leadership: Professionalism,Dedication to duty,Community service

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 350 is awarded is available to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• You are not required to submit a self-application.
• Instructors or program staff identify and nominate students who demonstrate strong performance.
• Nominations are reviewed based on: Leadership in the program, Professional conduct, Dedication to duty and training, Community service involvement
• The award committee selects the recipient from the nominated students, decisions are based on overall performance, attitude, and contributions
