George Alexander Foundation Scholarship

The George Alexander Foundation Scholarship was established by The George Alexander Foundation, which helps to overcome barriers and make it possible for talented students to achieve their potential and go on to contribute to the Australian community.

Eligibility criteria for the George Alexander Foundation Scholarship:

• The applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
• The applicant must have graduated from secondary school in the previous two years.
• The applicant must have a history of high academic achievement with an achieved ATAR (or adjusted ATAR) of 80 or higher.
• The applicant must have relocated from an inner regional, outer regional, remote, or very remote location.
• The applicant must demonstrate examples of personal leadership and/or contributions to the community.
• Successful candidates must study full-time internally at Murdoch University and be commencing their first year of tertiary study.

Application process for the George Alexander Foundation Scholarship:

• Applicants must submit the George Alexander Foundation Selection Criteria Form.
• Applicants must provide a signed academic reference on letterhead, dated within the past 3 months.
• Applicants must provide a signed community/employer reference from a senior representative, dated within the past 12 months.
• Applicants must provide an up-to-date resume.
• Applicants must provide their Year 12 Statement of Results or equivalent, if available.
