Introduction:

The Esmail and Safana Bharwani Award in Journalism helps to support full-time Bachelor of Communication – Journalism and Digital Media students who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is funded by the Esmail Safana Farzana Fayaz Bharwani Foundation.

Eligibility criteria of the Esmail and Safana Bharwani Award in Journalism:

• The applicant must be a full-time student at the university.
• The applicant must be enrolling in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Communication – Journalism and Digital Media major at the university.
• The applicant must demonstrate their financial needs.

Applicartion process for the Esmail and Safana Bharwani Award in Journalism:

• The applicants will be selected based on their community, not-for-profit, or campus involvement through extracurricular activities.
• The applicant must apply through the Mount Royal University Awards application form before the application deadline.
