Emily Lilias Johnston Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington

This scholarship was established in 1931 through a bequest from Emily Lilias Johnston, this scholarship supports students in the final year of their first bachelor’s degree at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, with funds distributed equally between male and female recipients.

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Applicants must be full-time students in their third year of undergraduate study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and must have begun their studies no more than three years before the year of application.
2. All previous undergraduate studies must have been completed at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Selection Criteria: 

1. Selection will primarily be made on the strength of the applicants personal statement.
2. Secondary consideration will be made on academic merit.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Award: NZD 1,000.
