Eligibility criteria for the Ogston Postgraduate (PhD) Music Scholarship at University of Aberdeen 2026:

Applicants must:

Hold a First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degree in Music (or equivalent).
Have secured an offer of admission for a PhD in Music before applying.
Demonstrate strong academic merit and musical talent.
Be willing to undertake full-time PhD study.

Value of the Ogston Postgraduate (PhD) Music Scholarship at University of Aberdeen 2026:

Each scholarship is valued at £2,000 per annum for the three years duration of the full-time PhD degree. The award is received subject to satisfactory progress over the period, and an annual review will take place.
