Dr. Erik D. Heidemann Political Science Scholarship

His parents, Marlinda and David Heidemann, created this scholarship as a memorial to their son, to support students majoring in Political Science. 

Eligibility criteria:

• The applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student in Political Science
• And for graduate students: acceptance to a University-approved student conference

Application process:

The applicant must surpass all the additional requirements the University sets for admission.

Note:

• Preference will be given to students interested in political parties, elections, or mass political behavior, but the application is open to all Political Science majors. 
• The $1,500 scholarship should be applied to the tuition costs of attending Kent State University.
