The purpose of this prize is to recognize excellence in clinical practice by students in the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of Canterbury.

Eligibility criteria for the D Bevan Holdgate Prize in Speech and Language Therapy:

Applicants must have enrolled in a specified course in the Third Professional Year of the Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology Honours degree programme at the University.
The prize is awarded by the University Council on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Communication Disorders.
In making the recommendation, the Head will consider clinical competence

Value of D Bevan Holdgate Prize in Speech and Language Therapy:

Successful applicants will get a prize consisting of a book or professional material, up to a value of $100.
