CICan Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary at Camosun College 2025

Introduction: 

The CICan Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary provides financial assistance to first-year college and institute students who demonstrate financial need and face challenges or barriers to participating in and completing postsecondary education. Preference is given to students attending rural, remote, or northern colleges or institutes that are members of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).

Eligibility requirements for the CICan Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary at Camosun College:

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the first year of a multi-year program at a CICan member institution.
• Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, permanent resident, or protected person and must demonstrate financial need.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 5,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.

Application Process:

• Express interest in applying directly to the Financial Aid & Awards Office at your enrolled CICan member institution by the application deadline.
• The institution reviews applications and nominates one eligible student for consideration by the CICan national committee.
