School of Languages, Cultures, and Race Outstanding Achievement in Ethnic Studies Award at Washington State University 2025

Eligibility Criteria for the Outstanding Achievement in Ethnic Studies Award:

The applicants must:

• Be of any nationality.
• Be an undergraduate majoring or minoring in the field of Comparative Ethnic Studies.
• Have minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Be Full-time regularly enrolled WSU student in good standing.
• Be in a certified School of Languages, Cultures, and Race (SLCR) major, or declared intent to pursue an SLCR program.

Application Process:

• The applicants must attach a copy of a paper they presented at a conference or wrote for a Comparative Ethnic Course (CES) course.
• The applicants must attach a separate document explaining where the paper was presented or what course it was used for.
• The applicants need to apply for the scholarship through the WSU General application form.

Award Requirements:

• The recipients must write a thank you letter to the donor(s).
• The recipients must be enrolled full-time at WSU and in good standing when funds are awarded.
