Catherine V. and Virginia E. Tenuta Scholarship (AS) at University of Wisconsin 2024

The generosity of Virginia Tenuta and her sister Catherine Tenuta enabled the Catherine V. and Virginia E. Tenuta Scholarship. Virginia and Catherine graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with bachelor's degrees, respectively, from the School of Education and the College of Letters and Sciences. They both went on to earn master's degrees. For most of her career, Virginia worked as a guidance counsellor while teaching in the public schools in Wausau and Kenosha. In addition to working in the Kenosha public schools, Catherine also held teaching positions at Marquette University and the UW Extension Centers in Racine and Milwaukee.

Eligibility for the Catherine V. and Virginia E. Tenuta Scholarship (AS) at the University of Wisconsin:

• Undergraduate students in the School of Education who have demonstrated financial need. Preference for students from Kenosha County.
• This scholarship is open to all nationals.
