Applicants must:

Be a graduate student (Master’s or PhD)
Be entering their second year of study
Be enrolled in the Faculty of Health or Faculty of Environment at University of Waterloo, Canada
Have a minimum overall average of B+ in graduate courses
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and an Ontario resident
Demonstrate financial need (OSAP documentation required)
Be conducting research in parks, conservation, or related environmental fields
Show evidence of involvement with conservation or environmental organizations (preferred).
