Northumbria is pleased to continue the Robson Laidler Scholarships, which support talented students from a widening participation background in the North East of England.

Eligibility Criteria for The Robson Laidler Scholarship at Northumbria University 2025:

Be a UK/Home fee‑status student.
Have a permanent residence in the North East of England.
Have applied to study on one of the eligible full‑time postgraduate programmes starting September 2025 at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus.
Meet the entry requirements and have accepted the offer of admission.
Be a self‑funded student.

Value of The Robson Laidler Scholarship at Northumbria University 2025:

£2,000 cash award (one year only) payable in three instalments:

25% in November 2025
25% in February 2026
50% in May 2026
