The Bev Thiele Memorial Fund in Women’s Research Bursary for The Rising Women Education Grant is a dedicated hardship fund designed to remove practical and financial barriers that can prevent young women and mothers from fully participating in their education.

Eligibility criteria of the Bev Thiele Memorial Fund in Women’s Research Bursary for The Rising Women Education Grant:

• The applicant must be a domestic student.
• The applicant must identify as a female.
• The applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate, honours or postgraduate (Masters by Coursework) course at the university.
• The applicant must be enrolled full time (at least 9 credit points), unless exceptional circumstances apply for part-time or external study.
• The applicant must demonstrate their financial needs or personal hardships.

Application process for the Bev Thiele Memorial Fund in Women’s Research Bursary for The Rising Women Education Grant:

• The applicants must fill out the given application form on the university's website.
• The applicant must submit a personal Statement outlining the intended use of scholarship funds to support studies.
• The applicant must submit evidence of Personal and/or Financial Hardship.

Payment method:

• AUD 1,500 in the semester the scholarship is awarded.
• AUD 1,000 in the consecutive semester.
