Arthur L McCombie Bursary at the University of Aberdeen
The Arthur L McCombie Bursary offers £4,000 per annum for up to two years to support undergraduate students in their penultimate and/or final Honours year (typically the third and/or fourth year of study) for the 2025–26 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria of Arthur L McCombie Bursary:
- Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at the University of Aberdeen, based on the Aberdeen campus, and in their final or penultimate year of study. They should be able to demonstrate financial need and must not hold any other scholarships, except the SAAS Bursary.
- Candidates must also be on track to graduate with a First Class Honours Degree to be considered eligible for the bursary.
Selection Criteria:
- Open to outstanding undergraduate students at Honours level who are on track to graduate with a First Class Honours Degree and are facing unexpected or severe financial hardship.
- Students who successfully graduate with a First Class Honours Degree may receive an additional one-off GBP 1,000 award at the discretion of the scholarship benefactor.
