Armed Forces Bereavement Scholarship
The Armed Forces Bereavement Scholarship Scheme supports the children of UK Armed Forces personnel whose deaths were attributable to their service, helping with the costs of further and higher education.
Eligibility Criteria for the Armed Forces Bereavement Scholarship:
- The applicant's parent must have died as a result of their service in the armed forces on or after 1 January 1990.
- The applicant must be 16 or older and enrolled in full-time further or higher education.
- The applicant or the surviving parent must be receiving bereavement benefits from the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, War Pension Scheme, or Armed Forces Attributable Benefits Scheme.
