Architecture, Design and Planning Deans Merit Scholarship at University of Sydney 2026

The main purpose of the University of Sydney Dean's Merit Scholarship is to encourage the most talented students who have excellent academic records and have applied to study at the University of Sydney.

Eligibility for the Architecture, Design, and Planning Dean's Merit Scholarship:

• Applicants must be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident. 
• Applicants must be recent school leavers.
• Applicants must be applying to and enrolling in one of the following degree programs at the University of Sydney:
  •  Bachelor of Architecture and Environments,
  • Bachelor of Design in Architecture,
  • Bachelor of Design in Architecture (Honours) and Master of Architecture,
  • Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design), or
  • Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design) and Bachelor of Advanced Studies 
• Applicants must have a minimum ATAR of 95 or equivalent. 

Value of the Architecture, Design, and Planning Dean's Merit Scholarship:

This scholarship is valued at $1000 per year and is tenable for one year only.

Application Process:

No application is required. Eligible candidates will be considered automatically as part of the admissions process.
