D. C. Cruickshank Family Scholarship at the University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction:

The D. C. Cruickshank Family Scholarship is funded through a donation by Shirley Cruickshank and administered by the University of Western Australia. The scholarship aims to assist and encourage young Indigenous women experiencing financial hardship to commence a full-time undergraduate degree at the university

Eligibility requirements for the D. C. Cruickshank Family Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be female Western Australian citizens and must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
• Demonstrate financial hardship.
• Be under 21 years of age as of 1 March of the year prior to the year for which application for entry to the university is made.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 1,800.

Application Process:

• Eligible students must apply through the scholarship application process of the University of Western Australia when applications are open.
• Applicants may be required to provide evidence of Indigenous status, residency, financial hardship, and admission to an undergraduate program.
