This scholarship celebrates the Honourable Alastair Nicholson AO QC RFD and his distinguished career and commitment to social justice, including advancing the interests of Indigenous Australians.

Eligibility for the Alastair Nicholson Memorial Scholarship:

Applicants must be Indigenous Australian students.
Applicants must have applied for and received admission to the Melbourne Juris Doctor in the upcoming intake

Selection Criteria:

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit. The Committee may also consider the applicant's demonstrated commitment and contribution to the Indigenous community.

Application Process:

No application is required. Students will be automatically considered for this award.

Value of the Scholarship:

Students will receive a single payment of AUD 3,000.
