Aecsdul Dissertation And Thesis Research Grant 2023

Objective:

This award is intended to recognize and support an Association member who is enrolled in one of these programs, exhibits exceptional academic achievement, and has not yet received a sizable amount of financing.

Eligibility for the Aecsdul Dissertation And Thesis Research Grant:

• To be eligible for full-time admission to the master's program with a thesis or the doctoral program in autumn 2023, applicants must be enrolled for 12 credits.
• When the scholarship is awarded (fall 2023), candidates must be enrolled full-time (12 credits) or demonstrate that they meet this requirement, per Financial Aid for Studies.
• People who are recognized as student parents within the criteria of the Université Laval policy about student parents may be eligible for this competition if they register part-time (6 to 11 credits).
• Applicants must have finished at least two full-time sessions in which they participated in AECSDUL activities. Thus, starting with the third session, applications are accepted.

Documents required:

• A cover letter describing your academic background and your community and/or sporting commitment as well as any other element highlighting your abilities (one-page maximum);
• A scientific description of the research project (two pages maximum);
• A list of sources of funding obtained for the master's and/or doctorate, including scholarships and sources of employment income;
• Official transcripts for the master's and/or doctorate. If the transcript is from a foreign university, a letter explaining the foreign grading system may be attached;
• A resume.
