Leiden University offers two full scholarships to graduates of Central European University (CEU) who wish to opt for a master's program in a field relating to sustainable development, governance, and social transformation to foster their academic development and professional career.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be registered as a student at CEU at the time of application.
Applicants must obtain their degree from CEU in the academic year before the start of their master’s program at Leiden University.
Applicants must be passport holders of one of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Ukraine.

Value:

Tuition fee waiver
The applicant will get a monthly stipend of €1,500.
Insurance coverage for health, travel, and stay.
The applicant will also get reimbursement of the residence permit fee (max. €350).
