Value of Wichita State University Freshmen Merit Scholarships 2026:

  • For Kansas residents and tuition-discount students:
    • Scholarships typically range from $2,000 – $4,000 per year (up to $8,000 – $16,000 total over four years).
  • For out-of-state students:
    • Scholarships typically range from $3,000 – $6,000 per year (up to $12,000 – $24,000 total over four years).
  • Awards are renewable for up to four consecutive years (fall and spring semesters only) or until the first bachelor’s degree is earned.
