The Virginia Spencer Carr Graduate Fellowship provides financial support to graduate students in the English Department to support their academic and research excellence.

Eligibility for the Virginia Spencer Carr Graduate Fellowship at Georgia State University:

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in the English Department
• Be a graduate student
  Meet eligibility and selection criteria set by the Fellowship Award Committee
• Submit three outstanding letters of recommendation
• Provide a strong writing sample demonstrating excellence.
