Victoria McMillan Memorial Award at Holland College 2025

Introduction:

A committed Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management student focused on building strong professional skills and gaining practical industry knowledge. Effort is consistently shown in academic work, teamwork, and workplace experience. There is a clear interest in developing a career in the hospitality industry while maintaining strong values such as work ethic, responsibility, and professionalism.

Eligibility requirement for Victoria McMillan Memorial Award at Holland College:

• Must be enrolled in second year of the Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management program
• Must be recognized by faculty as demonstrating strong spirit, enthusiasm, work ethic, and positive professional and personal relationships
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Must submit an essay outlining previous education, work experience, career goals, and program achievements

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 805 is awarded is available to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Complete the award application form
• Submit an essay/biography outlining previous education, work experience, career goals, and achievements in the program
• Demonstrate financial need as part of the application
• Ensure all required information is submitted by the deadline (November 1, 2025)
