Introduction:

The VanHall Trades Entrance Bursary was established by John Van Wees. He was a professionally trained pastry chef from Holland. This Bursary gives financial support to the students entering full-time trades foundation programs at Camosun College.

Eligibility criteria for the VanHall Trades Entrance Bursary at Camosun College:

The applicant must be a Canadian permanent resident.
The applicant must be entering a full-time trades foundation or apprentice program.
The applicant should be able to provide the financial need.

Value of the Scholarship:

Scholarship provides the following awards:

CAD 5,000 is awarded to support foundation students.
A CAD 2,000 is awarded for the apprentice

Application Process:

The students must submit an online application form, including a one-page letter of intentions describing the field of interested programs, financial future career goals, the past or current financial challenges
