UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarship

The UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarship is one of Western Australia’s premier scholarship programs, created through a partnership between The University of Western Australia (UWA) and the Fogarty Foundation. The scholarship is available to students in Year 12 who have exceptional academic potential, leadership ability and achievement in a variety of activities.

Eligibility criteria for the UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarship:

• Applicants must be domestic students.
• Applicants must be current Year 12 students planning to commence an undergraduate degree at UWA in Semester 1, 2027.
• Applicants must reasonably expect to achieve an ATAR of at least 93.00 for students from UWA-identified Broadway Schools or 98.00 for all other applicants.
• Applicants must demonstrate outstanding achievements in Year 11 and/or Year 12 in at least three of the five categories, i.e., Academic achievement, Leadership, Community involvement, Arts or Sports.
• Applicants must have either accepted an Early Offer to UWA, or applied through TISC, nominating a UWA course as their first preference in the first round of offers.
• In the year of application, applicants must be enrolled in Year 12 at a Western Australian secondary school or through the School of Isolated and Distance Education or in at least five WACE ATAR courses, or equivalent courses that could reasonably be expected to lead to an eligible ATAR.

Application Process:

• Submit an application through the UWA scholarship application process during the application period.
• Applicants must accept an eligible Early Offer, or apply through TISC and nominate a UWA course as their first preference in the first round of offers.
