UWA Connect Scholarship 2026

Introduction: 

The Jack and Eleanor Bendat Rural Indigenous Scholarship is offered by the University of Western Australia to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from regional Western Australia. It is designed to assist meritorious students who have already commenced their first undergraduate degree and are continuing their studies.

Eligibility requirements for the UWA Connect Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be commencing domestic students at The University of Western Australia.
• Have applied for or be enrolling in a bachelor’s degree.
• Come from a disadvantaged background and/or belong to an equity group

Value of the scholarship:

The scholarship provides both ongoing annual funding and a one-time starting payment, making the total value AUD 21,500 per student 

Application Process:

• Apply for an eligible bachelor’s degree at the University.
• Submit scholarship consideration through the university's admissions/scholarship system.
• Eligible applicants are automatically assessed based on equity and admission information.
