The John A Delaney Memorial Prize in Physics at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The Dr. John A. Delaney Prize in Physics is an annual award offered by University College Cork (UCC) to commemorate Dr. John A. Delaney, a physics lecturer at UCC from 1971 until his passing in 1999.

Eligibility criteria for the Dr. John A. Delaney Prize in Physics at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current UCC students.
• The applicants must have completed the Honors Physics course module in the first summer university examination in science.
• The applicants must achieve the required minimum standard of first-class honors, or 70% aggregate marks in the honors physics course module.

Application Process:

• No direct application is required.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 200 is awarded to support a full-time student.
