Introduction:

The Dr. Kay (Kate) Flynn Memorial Medal in Physiology was established through contributions from the family and friends of the late Dr. Kate Flynn. The medal recognizes exceptional academic achievement in physiology among first-year medical students at University College Cork

Eligibility criteria for the Dr. Kay (Kate) Flynn Memorial Medal in Physiology at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be a current first-year medical student at UCC.
• The applicants must pass the First MB Examination as a whole at the first Summer examination (no exemptions permitted).
• The applicants must achieve the highest mark in physiology.

Application Process:

• No separate application is required. The medal is awarded annually based on academic performance in medical microbiology.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A medal is being awarded to a full-time student.
