The Blayney Prize is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic prizes at University College Cork (UCC). Established through a bequest from Lord Blayney

Eligibility criteria for the The Blayney Prize at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be a current UCC student.
• The applicants must obtain the highest aggregate marks across all modules in the Summer Final Medical Examination.
• The applicants must achieve honors in the examination.
• The applicants must have been a student at UCC for the three years immediately preceding the examination.

Application Process:

• No separate application is required. The prize is awarded automatically based on the results of the Summer Final Medical Examination.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 3,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.
